Privacy Policy
Screeniti is a Chrome extension for taking screenshots and a service for storing and sharing them. This policy explains what data we process and why.
Data we collect
- Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your identifier, name, email and avatar — only to identify your account.
- Screenshots and notes. The images you choose to save and the text of your notes, along with the source page URL and creation time.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP, browser type) and privacy-friendly analytics for security and product improvement.
How we use data
- To store your screenshots and show them in your library.
- To create public links — only for screenshots you explicitly publish.
- To keep the Service running, secure and reliable.
Public screenshots
A screenshot becomes accessible by link only after you manually publish it. Anyone with the link can view it. You can switch it back to private or delete it at any time.
Analytics
We use Yandex.Metrica to understand aggregate usage (page views, navigation). It may set cookies. This data is used in aggregate and not to identify you personally.
Advertising and third parties
Public screenshot viewer pages may display ads from third-party networks (such as Google AdSense). These services may use cookies to serve ads. You can manage this in your Google Ad settings.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept while you use the Service. You can delete any screenshot, and request deletion of your account and all related data.
